Description
From a meticulous collection. Pics are of ACTUAL item you will receive.
Truly historic, collectible and important record. Vinyl like this is as much an investment as it is an enjoyment. Check out my other items!
NM- Pecko Duck Led Zeppelin IV Zoso Atlantic SD-8216 LP Porky 1st Press Archive Broadway Address. circa 1971.
"Pecko Duck" and "pecko" etched in the Deadwax.
No cut out, no punch out, no cut corner, no funkiness, no smell. Note, the prior owner did writhe his name on the labels, it is quite inconspicuous but is there. See pics.
Cover: With this many pics, I do not grade covers, but this is a stunner, especially for this LP. It looks and feels as new, with the exception of the spine which shows a little overall wear. Very solid cover. Look at the pics and decide for yourself. I can say colors are right, and the gatefold inner is very nice. There are no big scratches or marks on the cover, and no writing on LP Cover. Corners are sharp and near perfect. Very light ring wear, which may go away if cleaned under shrink. I could detect only under bright light. Spine is intact. There are NO seam splits. Inner sleeve is original and specific to LP, it is in very good shape, with one minor edge seam split 2-4 inches (easy fix). Original textured inner sleeve looks great.
Vinyl:
NM- mostly due to a few plays and light scuffs from inner on LP. Deadwax "Pecko Duck" on one side "Pecko" on the other side. Any marks are very superficial. Plays quiet, and kept quite clean. Vinyl itself thick, flat and round. Spindle is very clean, with no visible wear or marks. Gloss is intact and remains very reflective. Still glows. No audible imperfections. "Eugene" written on label only.
Condition is subjective, please spend a moment or two to zoom in and decide for yourself if this is a record you wish to invest in. To truly enjoy this record get an original copy, original mix and in a condition that does not compromise the sonics and provides full range sound.
None of my records have been machine cleaned, I prefer not to do so. All may benefit from such a clean, I just prefer to use light brushing to clean my LP's.
Also, unless specified, none of my record covers are sleeves have been repaired, I would rather you get the LP in original condition and decide if you wish to fix a minor seam split or not. You will not get records from me that have been clumsily pasted or taped together and passed of as near mint.
See feedback, I have sold 100's of rare and exceptional records, many valued in the 100's of dollars, with happy customers all. I have also sold a few records in excess of $500 (up to $900), and vintage audio pieces in excess of $4000, with no issues.
If you have questions please ask prior to bidding or buying.
3.99 SHIPPING TO US (lower 48) in professional slim record box, not in an envelope via media mail. Each box costs me $1, I do not skimp on shipping records.
I will ship worldwide - send a question for a quote. Worldwide shipping is not free. Shipping is $18 to Europe and Asia. I will require tracking and insurance, which is why the cost is a little more than usual. I sell to only select international buyers and countries at my discretion.
