This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

This copy bears all the hallmarks of the second run 1973 pressing: Fully laminated cover. No number to the front, but BEATLES embossed. Side opening. White die-cut inners. Correct YEX matrix..

I have just cleaned it with a Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum record cleaner and now I cannot see even any light dust or finger prints!!
Listening to her I heard all sorts of different instrumental arrangements-thanks to it's superior sound quality.
ZERO background noise!
SILENT run-ins too!

They are the APPLE pressing labels from 1995.
They have a groove about 1cm in from the outer edge and another about 1cm out from the spindle hole.

One tiny light indentation of about 1cm....I am being ultra critical-remains white in colour.
Side opening with "The Beatles" embossed on the cover.
SUPERB & UNCRUSHED strong spine.
The corners remains sharp.
