This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

This copy bears all the hallmarks of the second run 1973 pressing: Fully laminated cover. No number to the front, but BEATLES embossed. Side opening. White die-cut inners. Correct YEX matrix..

I cannot see any needle marks at all, just some light dust and finger prints!!
Listening to her I heard all sorts of different instrumental arrangements-thanks to it's superior sound quality.
Carries the very well respected Harry T Moss (HTM) etched into the run-off of side 4-showing this to be a superior cut.
ZERO background noise!
SILENT run-ins too!

There are just some tiny marks to her, if I am being ultra critical-remains white in colour.
Side opening with "The Beatles" embossed on the cover.
SUPERB & UNCRUSHED strong spine.
The corners remains sharp.
Inside-the images are as vibrant as when it was printed back in '73.

Pictures: NMINT.....All there and as fresh as the day they were popped into this lovely packet. All I see is some very gentle dings to one corner to a couple...that is it!
