RARE! The Beatles ?– Meet The Beatles!-Capitol T2047 MONO NO BMI/ ACASP CREDITS 1st release/1st PRESS RIAA 3. Still has the original dark blue inner sleeve. This was the very first record released by Capital in the US by the Beatles. These "No Credit on labels " examples are very hard to find in condition like this due to the fact that they were the first records sold in the US on Capital in 1964, which means they seen a lot of play time and abuse at the start of Beatlemania. Especially the Mono copies. The credits were soon put on the labels after this first initial rush release. This copy is in fantastic condition!
The record itself has been professionally cleaned and is in very good condition with a few typical scratches but nothing major. Just a few pops during I Saw Her Standing There at the beginning, and a little surface noise during Till There Was You. A very nice vintage sound overall.
