Description

"NO OTHER" - GENE CLARK. 1974 UK ISSUE STEREO LP. SYL 9020. on the ELEKTRA/ASYLUM Record Label. Produced by THOMAS JEFFERSON KAYE.

This (Hard to find lp.) is the 4th. solo effort from the great singer/songwriter GENE CLARK ex of NEW CHRISTY MINSTRELS, (in & out & in & out of) the BYRDS, and DILLARD and CLARK.... This brilliant lp, like his earlier solo albums, failed again to sell very well. Here he takes on all the Lead Vocals and is backed by a crack team of West Coast session musicians.     SIDE ONE: 1. LIFE'S GREATEST FOOL. 2. SILVER RAVEN. 3. NO OTHER. 4. STRENGTH OF STRINGS.   SIDE TWO: 1. FROM A SILVER PHIAL. 2. SOME MISUNDERSTANDING. 3. THE TRUE ONE. 4. LADY OF THE NORTH.   ALL MY RECORDS HAVE BEEN PLAY TESTED PRIOR TO LISTING.   CONDITION: This is an ex Southwark Library lp. which was withdrawn after only a short time & few lendings.   RECORD - ONE FAINT CIRCULAR MARK ON SIDE 1, TRACK 1, + A FEW VERY LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS ON EACH SIDE, BUT PLAYS VERY WELL: EX-   COVER - UNLAMINATED THIN CARD, VERY FAINT RUBBING, HAS "POPULAR" WRITTEN IN BIRO ON THE TOP RIGHT BACK: EX-

THIS LP IS FROM MY OWN PRIVATE COLLECTION
