Label:   FREEDOM / POLYDOR  (U.K.).  Label is red with black text, with “Made in England.”.  Jacket is gatefold (not laminated).  Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl.   Catalog number is 2383-093.

NOTE:  This came from a large collection of LPs stored for many years by an individual associated with the radio station at a historically black university back in the mid 1970s-early 80s.  This one shows no sign of ever having been on a turntable and is likely unplayed.  Guaranteed to be original and not a modern repro.  I will be listing additional albums from this collection in the coming weeks, so please check back for additional rare titles. 

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Shows no sign of ever having been on a turntable and is likely unplayed.  Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb.  Two splendid discs you will never need to upgrade.   

JACKET:  Jacket was exposed to moisture while in storage, and so there is noticeable rippling on the front and reverse panels.  There is also staining on the reverse panel which detracts significantly.  The jacket has a retail store sticker stating “British Import.”  Some wear spots are visible on the top and bottom seams, but there are no splits. 

Inside gatefold is clean but also shows some minor rippling on the right side, but there no staining on the inside panels which are essentially clean. 

I would give this jacket an overall grade of VG due mainly to the back cover damage, but I believe it will be adequate for many collectors who desire a beautiful NM disc.
