Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1959 FORTUNE RECORDS U.S. 45 containing the doo-wop tunes titled 'if I Oh I' backed with 'I Wanna Know' from Detroit doo-woppers Nolan Strong & The Diablos, well known for their doo-wop classic 'The Wind'. It is Fortune Records U.S. catalog number 532, blue labels, packaged in a plain white paper sleeve. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1959 FORTUNE RECORDS PRESSING, NOT A REISSUE OR A REPRO.
Condition of record is an overall VG with a few visible surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play, and a slight warp near its outer edge which causes a little hissing sound in the lead-in area that disappears when the music begins and otherwise does not affect play - Record plays with some light crackly surface noise and a little overall light background hissing that is inherent in the pressing. A-side label has a little writing in blue ballpoint, and both labels have some contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image and a little contact wear.
This scarce 45 would be a nice addition to any doo-wop or early rock-n-roll / R&B 45 record collection! $3.85 shipping via USPS Media Mail. SORRY, NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE U.S. AT THIS TIME. BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 in the above stated condition if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
