NORMA TANEGA - I DON'T THINK IT WILL HURT IF YOU SMILE LP
I’ve graded this more conservatively than initial listing having since examined under very bright light.
The vinyl is VG+. There are two surface marks (pictured) that do not seem to affect playback. Other hairlines and surface marks visible under very bright light. A record that has obviously been played and loved. It is a really nicely pressed record, like many RCA albums from the same period.
I compared my NM keeper copy and this for sale copy and they sound almost identical. A couple of light clicks here and there but other than that it plays beautifully. Test played on a Linn Sondek turntable with expensive cart and through valve amp and Tannoy Gold speakers. Cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner.
Unfortunately the cover is quite worn (see picture) and grades at VG. No seam splits or tape (other than the original tape on back sleeve right side) but it’s dirty, particularly on the back cover and it has a small tear mark.
I will consider offers carefully for a quick sale, but as you’ll appreciate, this record is rare and has sold for well over £200 here and on discogs in the past couple of years. Make me an offer I can’t refuse!
