This is the UK 1st press of ’Spirit In The Sky' by Norman Greenbaum. This earliest Reprise press is complete with the A-1//B-1 matrix and matt MacNeill Press sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a superb lightly played gloss, there are just a couple small wispy hairlines. The label is exceptionally bright and clean and the black text is sharp. There is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and vibrant. There is a little occasional background noise but it still plays through exceptionally well, warm and clear.
The matt MacNeill press sleeve is in Very Good condition. It is clean, bright and very solid. There is just a little ring and edge wear and a little discolouration around the edges. The whole sleeve is solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text. 625 (GS 6.9.7 (625))
