Hard to say how this custom pressing came about (there’s a convoluted/ unclear version in the liner notes on the back)
but I suspect the local chamber of commerce had a hand in pairing Normie up with the Jug Band- 1970 Queensland
winners of Hoadleys Battle of the Sounds to promote the city.
The (a) side is a poppy garage beat vocal. The other side is an instrumental version of the same song.
Condition wise the front cover has a name in the centre (see scan). The (a) side has a couple of light
feather marks that don’t sound. Otherwise everything is fine. Some problems but nevertheless
it’s a scarce record of the great man.
CONDITION WISE:
Record: EX-/M- Labels: M- Cover: VG+
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: Showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks
