ITEM: Rare First Pressing, vinyl Northern Soul 45, by Ila Van. Recorded on the Roulette Records Label, number R-4733. Matrix stampers are 1A, and 1A. Side 1 is " Can't Help Loving That Man Of Mine ", at 2:29 minutes. Side 2 is " I've Got The Feeling ", at 2:15 minutes.
COMMENTS/CONDITION: This 45 came from a private collection. It is not a beat up record bought at a yard sale. The record is visually graded, and was test played. Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.
The vinyl is in a clean NM- Condition, with a sparkling glossy luster. There are no cut-out BB holes, warps, deep scratches, or cracks. Center hole is perfectly round with no signs of abusive playing. Close visual inspection reveals very light, wispy scuffs that are cosmetic only and do not affect the playback or listening enjoyment of the 45. Both sides played through on my system with No Pops, Clicks, skips or groove lock. Please Note: These comments are made only for reference, and are NOT a statement as to the results you may experience from your equipment.
Both labels look like new. Colors are crisp and bright with no fading. There are NO tears, peeling edges, stickers, tape, writing, or nasty stains. I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use.
The sleeve is a standard Roulette issue. It is in VG condition with noticeable ring wear and crease lines. No split seams or writing.
