Description

You Northern collectors should know this one, all right. Incredibly scarce original 1965 pressing of this lush popcorn/soul gem by the enigmatic AL MCCARTHER. "His Love for You" b/w "In This Room." This single was basically issued only as promo for the songs, which were written by the team of Chip Taylor ("Wild Thing," etc.) and Ted Daryll. Disc is VG with light scuffs/rubs/non-audible visual scratches and plays through fine with only the faintest surface noise (a light cleaning will upgrade to VG+). "His Love..." label has two "x's" in pen (see scan).
