UK LABEL NORTHERN SOUL
I'll be auctioning off a lot of UK label singles over the next year(s), all taken from my own large collection. I've decided to concentrate on collecting US releases, and only keep a few UK label records. Among them are some very collectable 45s indeed, so make sure you don't miss any.
Tonight I'm adding a couple more singles that are relatively easy to find on US label, but much scarcer in their UK format.

Are you tired of acting like a gibbon to The Monkey? Are you getting really pissed off with pulling your arm muscles trying The Swim? Then the dance for you could be The 81 - though don't ask me any of the movements.
It's easy to pick this up on US Cameo for less than a tenner, but it's much more difficult finding it's UK counterpart, which has been a collectors item for a lot longer than most people can remember. Both sides are dancers, though the flip is a little twee for my liking.
This was the only UK single by the group. The withdrawn Kent single which purports to feature their handling of an unreleased version of The Apollas' "Mr. Creator", is not Candy & The Kisses at all, but Valerie Simpson.
This copy has two perfect labels, with no sticker residue, writing, or other vandalism (see scan).
The vinyl shows a number of light "spiders webs", and there appears to be a longish edge scuff on both sides - and in exactly the same spot on each. I don't know what did it, or what it's there for, because it's completely inaudible. In fact, both sides play through from beginning to end without a single click - dare I say nearly mint?
