GREAT PIECE OF NORTHERN FROM GWEN OWENS - UNRELEASED IN THE 60's & PRESSED IN UK FROM ORIGINAL RECORDING STUDIO TAPES
GWEN OWENS - LIES / RAIN - MEL-ADY

Quirky little collectors piece. Pressed in the UK by Adey Pierce, who purchased the original tapes via Gwen and the writer / producer Weldon McDougal III. Record comes with press release issued at the time. Sleeve is also autographed by Weldon when I met him in Philadelphia on the Soul Trip USA 2006, at Don Gardner's Clef Club. Pressed onto Ade's on label (MEL-ADY) and only 300 made. Sleeve autographed "To Neil, Weldon A McDougal III Get Down with the Philly Sound" ! Really nice guy. Heavily involved in the Philly record business, and was still going strong back in 2006.
