Thelma Lindsey -

Prepared To Love You/Why Weren't You There

MAGIC  CITY

Is this the greatest Northern double sider ever?

It's hard to argue. Gut wrenching, adrenaline pumping, foot stomping classic from the golden era - and that's just one side!  "Why weren't you there" found favour later when mid tempo groovers became popular. And quite right too.

Whichever side is your fave, Magic City copies are harder and harder to find.

And even the label is gorgeous to look at!

Condition is good.  There are two scuff marks fortunately on the run out groove only.  Otherwise just light marks here and there.  I think you'll be pleased.  Certainly nothing to detract from the aural excellence of this sublime moment of Detroit soul.

Bell Sound matrix stamped in run out groove.
