Description

I am offering for sale an original sealed copy of Athena ALSY - 10003, Prokofiev - Alexander Nevsky. This is an analogue remastered issue of a 1977 recording that appeared on the Candide label. The recording engineer was the famous Mark Aubort who used Schoeps at Powell Hall in St. Louis. The following is from a statement by Athena: "Unlike other remastering companies, Athena Records always sources the ORIGINAL ANALOG MASTER SESSION TAPES. In this case, The master lacquers were cut by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab so you know it will sound exactly like the original tapes. Each and every factory sealed ATHENA PRODUCTIONS LP and ATHENA RECORDS LP comes with a Registration Post Card and a registration number printed on the card. This Registration Post Card is packaged on top of the liner notes but under the shrink wrap / polybag such that the registration number is visible to the buyer."
Regarding condition, I consider the cover to be NM. There are some very slight dings I can feel by the opening of the cover, but can barely see. The record is, of course, unplayed.
