Notorious B.I.G. - Hypnotize 1997 US 12” Vinyl/Maxi-Single containing 3 Versions: Radio Mix, Instrumental (Side 1) and Club Mix (Side 2). Contains Interpolations from the composition 'La Di Da Di', written by Rick Walters. Vocals by Pamela Long. The last song released before his death in a drive-by shooting a week later, it was the fifth song by a credited artist to hit number one posthumously, and the first since "(Just Like) Starting Over" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1980. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked the song as number 30 on their list of the "100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time". Reached #1 in the US Billboard Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot 100 Singles Charts. Certified 2X Platinum in the UK and Platinum in the US. Contains a sample from "Rise" by Herb Alpert (1979). Vinyl is visually graded VG+ due to presence of surface marks on Side 1 (Photo #10) and Side 2 (Photo #11).
