Description
Nucleus - snakehips etcetera.
Very rare indian press of this amazing jazz rock album from 1975. This was only released on the spaceship label in the UK. But in India they kept the old swirl design for a few years.
Due to it being a fairly conservative country....nudity and risky photos were not permitted...hence the alternative cover to both the front and reverse. The front has been replaced with a zoomed in part of the original cover woman's thigh. While the reverse sleeve has a shadowed version of the original back phot of the band with a lady.
I have never come across another of these and can't find anything out about its existence...even in the vertigo site.
Not your normal India dire straits or thin lizzy albums with the swirl labels...which are rare enough. This is an exciting find....and will most probably never be seen again....due to the low numbers of these being made...or indeed sold in India back in the 1970's.
Most India pressings are often in bad shape....but this is in great working order with the sleeve all in place. Clean labels and a great sheen to the vinyl.
