Comments: Obscure, enterprising New York fun Funk. B-side is instrumental. This label was a sister label to P&P, of which the producers Peter Brown was one of the two P’s and Patricia Gilyard the other. In fact this 45 was later re-issued as a 12” on P&P, with name of the song shortened to “Funky Donkey” and the group name changed and shortened to “Otis & the King Pins”. The 45 reissued 2009 as GRC 480.
