Comments: Harlem, NY based record company distributed by Atlantic. Some classy credentials adorn the label of this 45 that made -38 on the R&B chart. A-side is a mid-tempo classic soul harmony duet performed by the Gaskins with a to-perfection restrained backing track. A sordid trumpet lends character to the uptown R&B ballad on the B-side, again with perfect close harmony singing from the two women (Barbara Jean Gaskins and her niece Brenda Gaskins). Barbara would later become the lead singer of Ecstasy, Passion & Pain as Barbara Roy.
