Description

We are starting to sell off parts of a large collection of records, of virtually all genres.

Please send any wants lists you have, we have more records than we can easily list, and we offer the same guarantees on all our records

Today, we shall mostly be selling UK psych, folk ( mostly acid folk ), beat and progressive - Please look out for our auctions, they will appear very regularly.

Up for sale now we have a beautiful copy of the Nadia Cattouse, the first release on the Reality label RY 1001 UK original from 1966

Nadia has a fabulous voice, and is on top form on this LP. Nothing ‘trad’ about the folk songs on this record. There is a really different rhythm to the backing here, not calypso, not ska, not traditional folk, but a really unique sound. There is a Dylan cover, a Sydney Carter song, but one fo the real highlights is one of Nadia’s own songs (she composed under the name of Eva Dayne). Sorrow is a fantastic song, worth the price of purchase by itself.

Condition .

This record is as a good EX+, as good as a record nearly 40 years old gets. It is not absolutely perfect, even brand new vinyl is rarely that, but there is hardly any disturbance of any sort in the background, and this is a quite record. There are only a few spindle marks on the labels, and barely a sign of a hairline from removing the record from the sleeve, let alone scratches or scuffs. This record has been rarely played.

The sleeve is also in great condition, easily EX. There are no real creases in the laminated front cover, only the slight impression of the disc from storage. The spine and seams have NO wear, only a little on the corners,. The back is nearly as good as the front, with just a little residue from where the sleeve may have previously had some tape on (this is very, very faintly visable on the front too). You will not need an upgrade for this.

We accept payment in the following forms:

Paypal

Credit Card direct (sorry no Amex or Diners)

Cheques drawn on a UK bank

Cash (sterling only)in a brown envelope (this must be recorded delivery, as I cannot help track it if it is not)

Bank transfer - not really recommended, as there are charges for this, and you will need to pay them.

We would like to get payment within 10 days. If this is not possible for whatever reason, please inform me straight away. All payments MUST be in UK Sterling. Payments in other currencies will either be returned, or exchange fees will have to be added to the cost.

Postage for the UK is £3.00 first LP, after that I will offer free postage for the next two items.

Singles are £1.50 for the first, and the same offer applies if you buy more than 1.

Europe rates start at £5 for the first LP, USA and Canada at £7 for the first LP Japan, Korea and Australia start at £9 for the first LP. The free postage offer applies to all of these too.

For an extra £1 UK, £2 Europe, £3 US, Far East, Australia and New Zealand I can add basic Insurance and tracking. For full value of the item or items, then I have to quote. (Tracking is recommended as, without it, I can help if an item does not arrive. However, this is very rare. Although it has happened to me a a buyer, it has Never happened to me as a seller.)

I have been selling and buying on Ebay for over 5 years now. There is not one single negative feedback for anything I have sold. Any problems with items that DO NOT match the descriptions will be refunded happily.

If you have any questions please email, I am always happy to answer.
