Description

An original EARLIEST 1st press of Sleighride on UK Pink Rim Island. Matrix A1/B1. Lovely heavy-set pressing. Stampers 1AL/1AH - 1st mother. Copyright Control on the labels - this is what they set the publishing credits too before settling on official publishing rights. Comes housed in an original gatefold 1st issue heavy-card gatefold. We also have an original inner sleeve from the time too.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely shiny condition with only lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Remember the audio on this title is going to be exceptionally fussy - only a super clean will get you close to a fantastic rendition. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. About as good as you're gonna manage to find. Clean throughout. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots - the super lowkey start to track 2 for instance. But overall some super audio delivered with power and detail, Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find these original copies looking smart after this passage of time. But this original example is looking really well preserved. The front and back are lovely and shiny with barely a crease. The interior is looking really smart and has largely avoided the ageing process [how many copies have managed to do that?].  Very little edge wear with nice firm openings. The spine is 100% intact and the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits. Bag present.
