Up for sale is an Ultra Rare LP, a pressing of  Nat "King" Cole and his TRIO", entitled "After Midnight",  from the "The Union of South Africa"  first pressing, MONO, circa 1956, in GOOD condition. Category number W782 on the Capitol Label, Grey Label/Silver Print.
The rarity of this pressing is that in 1956, Africa was a very racist country with apartheid policies in place and  with any native African or American Negro for that matter treated worse than animals with virtually no civil rights whatsoever in their own country. (see the photos where it is printed on the reverse of the jacket that the record was pressed in The Union of South Africa.
The Union of South Africa was ruled by unsympathetic, ruthless, whites whose roots were in Holland. (Remember the Boer War, with the Dutch in South Africa fighting the English). In the end it was Nelson Mandela who bought a top to it.
Segregstion was in full force and it is amazing that they let Nat King Coles record be released in that country at all. Hence the South African pressing is ULTRA RARE, one has never been found nor auctioned on Ebay. 
The record has scratches and wear all over both sides, but it till plays right through with a lot of pops, hisses and crackles. The labels are very clean and bright, with little spindle damage.
The album jacket is in bad shape, I wont list the damage in words, you can see for yourself in the photos the condition it is in, the seam has split at the bottom, from the edge of the entrance 22cm in., the rest you can see.

Copies of this album are becoming harder and harder to find and more and more sought after and valuable as each year passes, nobody has ever found a pressing of a Nat King Cole record in The Union of South Africa".
