Description

Here is a great 1959 release on the Capitol label (PBR-8502) titled The Art of Milstein. This is a two-record box set of violinst Nathan Milstein performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D-major with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra conducted by William Steinberg, Beethoven's Sonata No. 5 in F-major ("Spring") accompanied by Rudolf Firkusny, plus shorter pieces by Szymanowski, Debussy, Faure, Pizzetti and Sarasate accompanied by Leon Pommers. Includes the original booklet in superb condition.

Condition - The box looks quite nice except for very light signs of wear, including a small tear on the front. The spine is intact and the box is functional. The box grades at Near Mint Minus Minus. The records are shiny with light signs of use, including some very light scuffs and marks. The records grade at VG++, some sides may be better.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
