Description

No Mean City is the tenth studio album by the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth, released in January 1979. The album title comes from the 1935 novel No Mean City and features artwork illustrated by Rodney Matthews. A fan favorite, No Mean City was one of their last "heavier," melodic albums prior to Malice in Wonderland. My first concert was seeing Nazareth headline in 1979 on this tour, Thin Lizzy opened for them, on their "Live and Dangerous" tour. This album, therefore is very special to me. I still have the original ticket stub! This is the 1979 Japanese Vinyl pressing with the Obi-sash on the Vertigo Label. The catalog # on the spine is: RJ-7559. Record is visually graded by Goldmine standards as EX+. Cover is graded as VG. It is extremely rare to find copies of this pressing from Japan. I personally have never played this copy as I knew it was quite rare to have, and I also had the US vinyl version, of which, I did play. Record was stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006 and comes from a smoke/pet free home. Shipped following business day as soon as payment is received. Media Mail ($6) will take 3 to 5 weeks due to being shipped by boat from Hawaii..not air!  Priority Mail is $11, not $7 from Hawaii. International bidders please contact.
