Description

An original 1st press of RAMPANT on Uk MOONCREST. Matrix A1/B1.  The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original embossed cover with MOONCREST label. Also included is the original inner sleeve. No bank note though,,,,
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen lightest use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Superb audio with very little background at all. What's not to like? Anyone who is an audio nut will love this pressing. It's a cacophony of sounds! And EMI did a fantastic job on this pressing. Close to perfect...cannot fault...A couple of crackles in the intro to L&L - which plays absolutely superb. The acoustic - Sunshine - plays amazingly clean...if you need to hear the full gamut...unhindered...then do pay attention to this one....One isolated tick per side....All frequencies resolving clear and precise without a hint of background or distortion. Heavy as hell...
Cover (Ex-).In great condition..... On this title it would have had to been cared for very carefully down the years to stand even half a chance of looking this good. Lovely clean and untarnished front and ditto the rear. Embossed lettering in superb order. Slight edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 70% intact with a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Really nice specimen
Inner (Vg+) Superb... No splits. Slight discolouration.
