Description
Negativland - "U2" - 1991 SST Records 12" #272. Negativland created a great sound collage on this 12". The band took snipets of U2 (the Band) songs, mostly "I Still Haven't Found what I'm Looking For" and outtakes from Kasey Kasem's America's Top 40 radio show. U2's label Island Records swooped in and filed suit and the little guys lost. SST Records were forced to recall all copies from the stores and destroy all stock in the warehouse.
This one we have here is one of the few that got away!! The sleeve is excellent, still in shrink wrap, corners show some very small creases. Record is near mint, beautiful.
