Description
Neil Young "Neil Young"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Reprise RS 6317 from 1969. This was his first solo album. The labels are two color with short rim print. The matrix number has a "RE-1" on side two only. It comes in a gatefold cover with no name printed along the top.
The matrix numbers are hand etched : Side 1 : 30817 RS 6317 A -B and Side 2 : 30818 RS 6317 B RE-1 1B.
The band includes : Ry Cooder, Jack Nitzsche, Jim Messina, Earl Palmer, and others. This album was produced by David Briggs. The front cover artwork is by Roland Diehl, with art direction by Ed Thrasher.
The songs are : The Emperor Of Wyoming, The Loner, If I Could Have Her Tonight, The Old Laughing Lady, String Quartet From Whiskey Boot Hill, Here We Are In The Years, What Did You Do To My Life?, I've Lover Her So Long, and The Last Trip To Tulsa.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is VG+
The gatefold cover is mint minus with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits. The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with light handling marks, mostly on side 2. It plays with light static in the quiet parts and between the songs. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a Reprise Records inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 10 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 26 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail. I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.
