Up for auction is an original rare US TEST PRESSING of the Neil Young 'Decade' 3 LP set on Reprise Records 3RS 2257 from 1976. Test pressings are rare, but this is even more sought after due to a different version of 'Campaigner' than the commercial copies have, so bid accordingly.
Test pressings are quite rare and only made in small quantities. They are pressed prior to the actual commercial copies and are used for quality testing and promotion.
Record info:
The records vary greatly in condition. The 1st LP is VG with multiple prominent scuffs on both sides, but plays fine with no skipping. LP #2 is VG+ with a few scuffs but is much better than the first LP and plays with some surface noise. LP #3 is a strong VG+ with minor surface noise. This is the LP that has the rare track 'Campaigner' which is a longer version than the commercial version has with extra lyrics (it runs about 4:15 vs. 3:30 for the commercial version).
Cover info:
The 3 LPs are housed in two generic white jackets with handwritten info on the front. One has a 4"partial seam split on top at jacket opening.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail (not recommended for high value items) or $12 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $20. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
