Neil Young :  "Harvest"    (LP)      Stereo    Reprise MS 2032

Original 1972 US pressing on Reprise Records, with textured gatefold jacket.  This is the complete package, including the original custom 11.5 x 23 inch folded lyric sheet and the original matte finish "natural paper" inner sleeve.

No bar code.  No stickers.

Features the Stray Gators backup band, with Ben Keith on steel guitar and Jack Nitzsche on piano.

Includes the title track and renowned hit song "Heart Of Gold" as well as the controversial "A Man Needs A Maid" and "Alabama" ... and the heart wrenching "The Needle And The Damage Done".

Matrix numbers hand etched in the dead wax read:

Side 1:   MS 2032   31176-1P   STERLING   T1

Side 2:   MS 2032   31177-1P   STERLING   T1

Vinyl:  EX

Light superficial surface marks are present but have little or no impact on sound quality, with one exception:  a small scratch at the start of track 1 on Side 2 results in a periodic "tick" for the first 30-40 seconds of the song.  Otherwise, the wax plays just shy of near mint, with only faint surface noise (background "crackle") audible between some tracks and during some quiet passages.

Exceptionally high gloss remains on this record, now 45 years old !!!

Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".

Jacket:  VG+

Textured gatefold jacket shows modest ring and rub wear on front cover.  Back cover is in excellent shape.  Inside gatefold area is near mint, with a colorful glossy photo and crystal clear print.

Seams and corners show some rub wear.  A 3/4 inch seam split is present at the bottom right corner at the jacket opening.

Spine shows only modest rub wear.  Spine print is clearly legible.

My Profile / Policies:

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.

Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
