Description

Released in November 1972 on Reprise Records, Journey Through the Past is a fascinating double LP soundtrack album documenting Neil Young's experimental musical documentary film of the same name. This compilation serves as a rich chronological retrospective, blending rare live recordings, television performances, and unreleased studio cuts alongside tracks by Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Highly prized by classic rock collectors, it contains a legendary full band rehearsal of Words and remains an essential piece of history since it is the only 1970s Neil Young album that was never officially reissued on CD. This beautiful US pressing features brilliant vinyl graded in Excellent condition, housed inside its unique original four-panel gatefold cover with the intricate die-cut inner flaps fully intact and in pristine shape.
