Description
Cover is pristine, except for some yellowing around the edges; no shrink-wrap. Lp is pristine, except for side2, tracks 2-4 have a single wisp of stains/ swirls, streaks caused by the excessive use of 'mold release compound' during the pressing process: not an audible defect; track 2 has a short series of spider-web like marks at the start of the track(about an inch and a half in length), that are very hard to see except under a very strong light and a certain angle(can't be seen under normal conditions): not audible either; also tracks two through half of five, have a similar very light, very hard to see, single hairline scratch across them: again, not an audible anomaly. This is the original pressing from 1968: no name on the front cover; it does NOT have 'RE-1' in the dead wax area. Note: I played the entirety of side 2 and found only the usual random, low in level, tick/pops, you find on a nearly 40 year old Lp; The Last Trip To Tulsa sounds absolutely amazing; some of the tracks have been mastered at a very low level, probably with no EQ or compression:very unusual, even in 1968.
