Neil Young's 'Official Release Series' reaches the Canadian guitar legend's critical and commercial resurgence at the dawn of the nineties, when the rise of Nirvana and the Seattle scene led to him being dubbed 'The Godfather of Grunge'. 'Volume 5' contains 1989's 'Freedom' and 1990's 'Ragged Glory' that comes with four bonus tracks (two B-sides and two unreleased songs) plus 1991's live album with Crazy Horse 'Weld' and its companion piece, the freeform guitar noise collage 'Arc'.
