Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and 3 MIL soft poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- Incredibly, this first solo album from Neil Young did not chart.
- This is the second version of this album. The first version did not have a name on the cover.
- The record appears to be the First Pressing of that second version on the two-tone riverboat Reprise label..
- The matrix runout ends in RE-1.
- The playing surfaces are clean.
- The paper on board gatefold cover has tight seams and a stiff spine. The top inside of the gatefold appears to have had some slight water stains or mildew.
- The inner sleeve has WB/Reprise artist listings and a vintage old time band photo. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner. Seller got this copy new in his store in 1969. It has been in storage for almost 47 years.
All songs written by Neil Young, except where noted. Arrangements on "The Old Laughing Lady," "String Quartet from Whiskey Boot Hill," and "I've Loved Her So Long" by Young, Nitzsche and Ry Cooder.
