Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
- This is a 2015 reissue of the original 1975 release. The album is culled from live recordings made at the Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, shows that celebrated the club's opening. Neil Young and the backing band he called the Santa Monica Flyers played two sets a night on September 20, 21, and 22, 1973. One track was recorded at Fillmore East.
- The booklet is a 9"x 12", 32-page collection of photos from those nights at The Roxy. All photos are by Henry Diltz and Joel Bernstein. The photos include shots on Neil's long-time, recently departed manager Elliot Roberts, David Geffen and Elton John.
- The booklet was a Reprise Records Promotional item that was printed as a companion piece for the initial release of this album. There weren't many made and this Mint Condition copy is a true rarity.
- This is the Neil Young Archives Official Release Series Disc 07.
- It was remastered for this release.
- Pressed at Pallas, Germany for release in the US.
