~ Neil Young's Rarest US Promo Label ~


When promos were being made for this Neil Young release, DJ's were given the choice of MONO or STEREO White Label LP's. And since very few chose MONO, most of the original copies were recycled. Which makes this MONO Label Promo one of the rarest Neil Young promos of all time! Furthermore, since very few actual mono copies were produced, all Time Fades Away jackets have the same MS-2151 catalog number printed on the title edge.


What this adds up to is THIS MONO PRESSING is absolutely THE VERY FIRST PRESSING for this release!


Actual pressing date is 10-15-1973 a full two-weeks before any commercial pressings were produced.
