The 2014 release of Plasmatics' New Hope for the Wretched on 200g vinyl (note: the album is commonly known as New Hope for the Wretched, the band's seminal 1980 debut) was a high-quality reissue from Drastic Plastic Records (DPR).

This premium edition featured heavy 200-gram black vinyl, offering enhanced sound depth, dynamics, and presence compared to standard pressings—ideal for showcasing the raw, chainsaw-fueled punk energy of tracks like "Butcher Baby," "Tight Black Pants," and "Living Dead." If there is a round sticker on the shrink wrap, it is easily removed with goo gone. I used these stickers for cataloging. There may be pricing stickers on the clear slipcovers.
