Description
New Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Live in Germany 1996 Vinyl
This item is brand new and shrink wrapped.
This listing is for a new copy of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Live in Germany 1996 on the DMM Label.
This vinyl offering from Vinyl Passion captures the dark brilliance of Nick Cave, fronting his benchmark band the Bad Seeds at the 1996 Bizarre Festival in Cologne, Germany, in 1996. Brooding, thoughtful, fearless, passionate, Cave brings each of these powerful, lyrically dense compositions to life with his trademark vocal intensity and hard-driving rock and roll. The many influences Cave has explored, from punk rock to jazz to country and beyond, are all on display here.
Songs that for Cave fans still sum up the 1980’s and ‘90’s get the full-on live treatment here including "Your Funeral, My Trial," "The Mercy Seat," "The Weeping Song," "Brother, My Cup Is Empty" and "Loverman" among others. And the famous hit duet "Where The Wild Roses Grow" (originally recorded with Kylie Minogue) even gets an endearing reinterpretation as a duet between Cave and Bad Seeds stalwart Blixa Bargeld. A powerful set from one of music's most original artists!
