Description
This is a USED record. If you really want new, this is not it, and I will appreciate that you do not bid. Thanks.
This was from the cut-out bin at the record store a long time ago, hence a notch through the cover at lower right. I never knew what a cut-out record meant, it had factory plastic and played fine when I eventually got it onto the turntable. I bough plenty of cut-outs without problems.
This record is in very good condition. There are a few marks on each side that are almost imperceptible, so much so that I could not even photo them. There may be some visibility of previous use of liquid cleaner from a disc washer - leaving a small residue of dried up fluid? Can't tell.
There IS an occasional pop or scratch audible, sometimes at the beginning of a quiet passage. I counted three or four, your ears may hear more. I cannot see any marks to clean off to fix this, so it must be almost microscopic within the grooves. If you are seeking a 100% totally scratch-free audible experience like you would get with a CD, this record is not for you.
The record lays flat when being played. No warping that I can tell. Video included so you can see.
If you are collecting used records that play good and you can enjoy them even with an occasional pop or blip, this may be for you. It is not new, not perfect, but has worked great for me the few times it was played.
Cover and inner sleeve are in good condition, showing what I consider to be normal wear from being stored in a record collection and being moved multiple times to new residences. The inner sleeve IS ripped slightly where the record edge has sliced through. And the inner sleeve has crease marks where it was folded for some reason. This is not a new record.
Somebody will be very happy with this despite a couple momentary imperfections. Perfection seekers will go elsewhere.
