Description

Amazing debut album from New Order, following the name change from “Joy Division”, due to loss of lead singer Ian Curtis. A dark, moody, and brooding effort, unlike anything else in the bands catalogue.

The vinyl looks unplayed, in amazing shape. Sounds absolutely stunning. Peter Hook’s melodic bass lines are dominant throughout. Included is the original Factory labelled poly lined inner sleeve. The blue cardboard cover is almost in near mint shape, with a slight bit of wear on bottom edge.

This is one of the two, “A2/B2” plated variants from the first press run in 1981, the other having 2 rings in the label centre instead of one, and both with ‘Town House’ stamped into the matrix.

This is part of a private collection, many items of which will be listed now and in the coming days. I will combine shipping, media mail (US bidders + 0.50 ea additional album). Happy bidding!
