Description
The version I have is the 1983 Factory US printing made in the SF area by Rough Trade, and is marked in the runout as follows:
Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, etched. In the last part, the '80' is scratched out and the 79 is etched below it.): FACTUS 12 A RE-1 AUTOMATT-PS 16080(3)+ 79
Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, etched): FACTUS 12 B RE-1 AUTOMATT:PS 16080(3)+
Mine has a mismark on the runout on Side 1 - on the "16080 (+3)", the 80 is NOT scratched out NOR replaced with a 79. Every other marking remains the same as listed on this version. Out of the 15 or so 1983 US versions I could find, this was the description that closest matched mine - all other versions noting the 16080 number from AutoMatt, all notes lead to the 80 being scratched and replaced with 79, and mine is not. Was played but WELL taken care of and sounds beautifully clean. Slight sleeve scuff on both sides of vinyl, otherwise I'd give it a confident EX based sound. Normal wear on the die cut outer sleeve, has original black custom inner sleeve, and clean - no markings from pens, stickers, etc., just a bit extra wear on the bottom edge of the outer sleeve for me to feel comfortable with a VG+.
