Regarding runout etchings:
The 'a' in "aB" in each etching is a machine stamped lowercase A which is the Allied Record Company logo, it can only be described as looking like a 'Q' or a lower case 'a' (the type without a 'top').
The "SLM ?" in the runout etching indicates that the lacquer disc was processed at, and the metal parts used to manufacture the record were made at Sheffield Lab Matrix.
