Description

This is a very rare 7" white label promo for New Order's "Touched by the Hand of God" single.  Released in December 1987 by Factory Records (catalog number FAC 193-7), it was the band's attempt at that year's Christmas number one.  It was of course not to be, as the number one spot was taken by the Pet Shop Boys.  The single is housed in its original white die-cut sleeve with the original press sticker and contact sticker for Out Promotion (Factory's official PR company).  The single has a handwritten label with the title and catalog number.  The handwriting was done by either an employee of Factory or Out Promotion, the band's PR company.  The handwriting on other Factory white labels from this era is the same.  This single is also accompanied by its original A4 press relesse.  White label singles on Factory are increasingly sought after these days, especially complete with its press release and original stickered sleeve.  Don't miss out!

The tracklisting is as follows:

    A. Touched by the Hand of God (7" edit) [3:47]
    B. Touched by the Hand of Dub (7" edit) [4:11]

The picture shown is of the actual item you will be bidding on - it is not a stock image, nor is it "borrowed" from another site or auction.  The item is in overall NEAR MINT condition.  The sleeve is in very good condition with no seam splits.  The press stickers are all still intact.  The vinyl itself has no marks or scratches.

Will ship to most locations worldwide, buyer to assume shipping and handling charges.  Handling and packaging included in shipping charges.  Please contact me upon winning for a total.  PayPal payments are accepted in US dollars.  Insurance or tracking options at the buyer's expense may be requested at the time of winning.  I endeavor to take the utmost care in packaging and will send the item in a very sturdy mailer to help ensure that it arrives to you in its current condition.
