Description

Another result of my filling holes in my collection, upgrading or improving over recent years.
What can I say, it's New Rose!
Originally released in 1976 on the fledgling Stiff Records with a push out centre and a Delga sleeve this particular copy ticks so many boxes except for one. As I understand it the very first pressing just had 'Street Music Co.' credited on the inners where this later pressing also has 'Rock Music Co. Ltd.' so while it was released in '76 it's not quite the first pressing. Another indicator of both these and the first pressings is the style of cut out on the back of the sleeve, later copies and re-releases have a curved cut out where the early sleeves have a more post box, straight edged cut out, again, as far as I understand it, I'm more than happy to be corrected.
The cover of this copy is in very good condition, very limited edge wear and no seam splits. From the back it's just looking a little tired, the open edge displaying some wear is all. The front has a small mark just to the right of the Captain where it looks like something has been rubbed off but all in all, very minor.
The vinyl is in excellent condition, plays without any jumps, pops or scratching with just the lightest of noise on run in and out both sides.
