Beatles Sgt Pepper’s

*Rare 1978*

Limited Edition Picture Disc Stereo SEAX-11840

Black Cover

Original packaging intact and corners are square and encased

The difference between mine and others on eBay? I’ve taken proper care of mine and it’s storage

Original issue of Sgt. Pepper’s was Mono 1967 in UK by Parlophone

This Limited Edition Picture Disc was reissued in Stereo in the US by Capitol Aug 21, 1978, Catalog # SEAX-11840 with black cover

This particular picture disc reissue SEAX-11840 in 1978 is regarded by some collectors as having the most reliable sound compared to the other two official US & UK picture discs reissues 1976 and 2017

The 1976 US reissue was a misprint with the typical Sgt Pepper’s cover without a top white strip. The last official reissue was in 2017 with red covers by US and UK

There’s also a few unofficial bootleg picture discs out there with intentional misprints and worse sound
