Description

An extremely rare LP titled New Years Eve at the Coliseum, featuring four very good and very elusive Southern bands: The So... But So What, Moody's Goose, Brotherhood and Little Roc. Half the tracks are covers (some of them pretty amazing), and half are originals. Little Roc, I'm just assuming, were from Little Rock, Ark. They do a pair of very impressive originals on this LP. The So... But So What were from Birmingham, Ala. Their only other known release is a late 60's single "I Will Cry" b/w "Bright." The track I've sampled below is their storming cover of Free's The Stealer. Moody's Goose was a Tennessee band that was on the Allman Brothers' Eat a Peach tour, and have been called one of the great unsung Southern Rock bands. To me, they sound like a heavier Little Feat. Brotherhood probably has no relation to the band that put out the Stavia LP. The track I've sampled is a pretty striking, heavy-ish cover of CSNY's "Carry On." Cover and disc are both in excellent condition with very light wear.
