Description
WHERE THIS RECORD CAME FROM
Our record shop, Trash American Style, opened the same day that 7 Seconds played their pivotal concert at the Anthrax. November 29, 1986. After that show, it seems every kid in Connecticut decided to form a hardcore band.
We were there while that entire scene was born. Since our very first day, we have specialized in selling the best hardcore records of the time. You name it, it probably passed through our store at one time or another. We’ve catered to many serious record collectors over the years and just recently, we purchased a large collection that belonged to one of our customers. This fellow started buying hardcore records from Trash in the early 1990’s and stopped buying them in the early 2000’s. His collection also included many awesome pressings of records that were purchased directly from bands while on tour, they're quite limited and rare due to the "tour only" distribution methods used.
Hundreds of records to list, here goes........... Strike while the FRN is still hot!
Revelation Records Rev: 2
released 1987
Here’s the skinny: black vinyl, black and silver labels. 2 large inserts on yellow paper with info on the bands (2nd picture). Outer sleeve printed on thin paper, opens at top, fold is on bottom. Most likely the second pressing of 300 copies. If I recall correctly, there are tracks on this 7” that never got reissued anywhere in any format.
The vinyl has a few signs of handling and of being played, but it is overall very clean (side A = VG++ and side B = VG+). There are some very light surface marks but this still would be rated a very worthy copy by most collectors. There is some surface noise between the songs, but once the tunes crank up, all surface noise is buried!
Both inserts have some wear on them. They’ve been looked at plenty but are still in one piece VG+. There are no tears, tape, holes, or stains. The cover is fully intact. No split seams, ring wear, tears, or stains. It’s got a few creases and wrinkles, but they are all light. This is still a good looking cover. Classic, rare and up for grabs!!
