Description
Harold Nicholas and Fayard Nicholas sing and tap dance their way through "They Say He Ought to Dance" and "Wrap Your Cares in Rhythm and Dance" on Decca 1604 accompanied by a nice jazz band. Bobby Hackett takes a fine solo on "They Say." Clarinet and trombone solos on the other side.
Bobby Hackett, Ralph Muzzillo (tp); Al Philburn (tb); Sid Stoneburn (cl); Frank Signorelli (p); Dave Barbour (g); Haig Stephens (b); Stan King (d). Recorded in New York on December 6, 1937.
This record is in E- condition generally and plays that way. Both sides have some shallow impressions across the grooves that may be from storage, and "Wrap" has a small needle run, but these visible flaws have little or no effect on the sound, which is loud and clear.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing. I know how to pack records.
