Description
On offer here is a Blue Rim Island label variant copy of Bryter Layter by Nick Drake, released in 1976, catalogue number ILPS 9134
This pressing used the same stampers as the original, and is a superb recording
The single sleeve, made by Robor Limited, is in Near Mint condition, with just a very small point of wear in the bottom right hand corner ( see photo)
There is no ring or shelf wear, splits or writing
I have played the vinyl through in full on my high end system (Gyrodec SME IV arm, Dynavector cartridge and Naim pre Power amps) at volume and it plays beautifully, I would grade as Near Mint
There is some mottling of the vinyl on half of Side One, the rest is prefect. As I said I have played this through and there is NO detrimental affect on the sound.
The labels are almost as made with one feint spindle mark on each side to indicate any play
The matrix numbers are ILPS 9134 A2 and ILPS 9134 B
The original Powder Blue Island Polylined inner is included, with the 22 St Peter’s Square address, this is unsplit and in Excellent condition
This is as I said a Blue Rim press, but Nick Drake albums sold in very small numbers, so don’t come up often particularly in this superb physical and sonic condition, a truly collectible album
I do combine postage up to 2 kg, (Royal Mail small parcel)
The record will be securely packed in a professional Record Mailer made by Covers 33 as used by most Record Mail Order companies. It will be sent within Five days of receiving a cleared payment
