Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
Second pressing from 1972. Original pressing was 1971.
Unlike the original 1971 release this later issue has the timings of the songs in brackets and the text 'Island Records Ltd' on the right hand side of the label next to the publishing date. This issue also has Joe Boyd's production credit printed on two lines rather than just the one and does not have 'stereo' on the label.
The lacquer used on this pressing is identical to the first pressing and also sounds identical as I have A/B’ed it against my first pressing. It shares the A-1U/B-1U matrices.
Disc is in lovely condition. Has some light surface noise in quieter parts and a small mark which does cause light ticks, followed by a slightly longer one which also causes light ticks which do subside under the music.
Textured sleeve has some creasing and light wear but is otherwise in great condition.
